About This Community

DARTS is a nonprofit organization serving adults age 55 and older and their caregivers in Dakota County and portions of southern Washington County. Established in 1974, the organization provides non-medical home management services, caregiver support, transportation, resource navigation, home repairs, homemaking, and community-based aging programs. DARTS states that its mission is to help older adults remain independent in their homes and communities while supporting family caregivers. Services are delivered through staff and volunteers and are designed to help older adults age in place through practical assistance, education, and community engagement.

Mission focuses on helping older adults remain independent and connected within their communities. Offers volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups. Provides educational programs and healthy aging initiatives in addition to home management services.
